Terms & Conditions (and a little advice)
Bookings:

All items should be packed properly before our arrival. We advise that all loose items should be boxed with the top of the box flat and sealed (so we can stack the boxes).

Boxes with items protruding can be taken but 90% of boxes should have flat tops.

Boxes should not be over filled with heavy items (the main culprit is books) - whilst we are use to moving heavy items we are only human!

Clothing and soft items should be put into black bags. Please do not over fill "cheap black bags" as they tend to split easily.

There is good access at both the collection and delivery address.

In busy areas we ask that you try your best to keep us a space outside your property. We use a Luton Van with a Tail Lift - which requires 2 normal spaces.

We sometimes quote on "standard number of bedrooms" - if your have excess amounts of furniture/boxes etc please discuss this with us first.

please ensure you tell us if you are moving to a flat (above first floor) before any move.

Garden furniture / items must be free of mud and not ridiculously dirty (we presume you don't want your inside furniture/belongings getting dirty!). Sheds, trampolines, play houses, green houses etc must be declared to us prior to the move so that we have sufficient time and resources to move them

As a general rule we do not take outside plant pots - again your other items may get very dirty if we move excessive amounts of plant pots. Depending on size we don't mind taking half a dozen as we can keep them towards to rear of the van without dirtying your goods or our van!

Please inform us before hand of any over sized furniture so we can advise on how to deal with it (e.g. very large wardrobes etc).

Wardrobes - the general rule of thumb is that wardrobes with more than 2 doors generally have to be dismantled and reassembled - in most cases they simply cant be moved whole because of stairs, corners etc. - this is the main reason the likes of Ikea sell them flat packed so you can get them into the room of your choice. Please talk to us if you think this may be the case.

All wardrobes (that need to be dismantled), beds etc should be dismantled and be ready for transport on our arrival. If you require us to dismantle/reassemble anything it is vital you talk to us before your move and not when we arrive! This ensures we have the available time and resources to do this.

​American Fridge Freezers - please let us know if you have one of these before the move. As part of a standard removal service the doors are dismantled and reassembled by us - this reduces the weight and helps get the AFF into and out of the house. Hence reducing any risk of damage to the AFF to the absolute minimum. Please note the AFF's are moved ground floor top ground floor only. If you have one that needs moving to a higher floor please discuss this with us before hand.
